- Description Although no longer recommended for new designs, the RV-8564-C2 real time clock module does offer excellent power consumption specifications as good as 250nA for existing designs with I2C bus 2-wire serial interface. RTC built-in functions include standard clock and calendar functions, with year tracking and leap-year flagging. For new designs please consider the RV-1805-C3 which features ultra-low power consumption and a host of additional functionality with more competitive pricing. For our most competitive solution please also consider the RV-4162-C7. In order to align ourselves with industry-standard nomenclature the name of this product has been revised from RV8564C2 to RV-8564-C2.
